Therapist Connection Membership

Membership is open to all licensed mental health professionals, interns, students, and professionals in related fields.

Membership dues will be reinstated starting January 1, 2023

Why join The Therapist Connection?

If you are a professional looking for an organization dedicated to competency and support and continuing education with very affordable dues, The Therapist Connection (TTC) is for you. TTC helps those in the mental health profession stay current with practices and provides valuable networking and referral opportunities with others in the same field.

The Therapist Connection is designated as a non-profit, educational organization, 501 (c) (3).

Dues are $60 dollars a year for full membership which includes the cost of CEU’s presented at monthly meetings. CEU’s are available to LCSW’s, LPC’s, and LMFT’s. The other membership categories are only $25 dollars per year.

What are the benefits of TTC membership?
For a small annual membership fee you receive:

  • Access to 15 CEUs annually to meet your requirements.

  • Connection to other Provider groups such as the Supervisor’s group (which provides additional CEUs), EMDR support group; and a Professional Peer Support group.

  • Free Classified Ads in our newsletter that goes to the community

  • Access to our special topic subgroups via our website to share information or ask questions

  • Quarterly socials

  • Your own Provider profile displayed on our website so that Clients and Providers can quickly find you.

  • By joining The Therapist Connection and attending the monthly meetings you can satisfy your annual CEU requirements. Your profile and picture will be listed in The Therapist Connection Directory which is at our Find a Therapist page on our website.

 

 

How do I join?

The best way is to just attend one of the monthly meetings. If you sign up then you will be awarded your first CEUs. You can get the process started by clicking the “Start The Membership Process” button at the bottom of this page and completing the online application.

Understand that only licensed mental health professionals are eligible for full membership. Your application will be reviewed by The Therapist Connection Board and you will be notified by email when you are accepted.

Keep in mind you will not get access to the networking privileges with other members until the membership dues are received by the TTC treasurer.

Once your application is reviewed by the Board and membership is accepted you will receive a welcome packet by email with specific instructions on establishing your web presence with The Therapist Connection.

Renew Your Expired Membership

Please navigate to the “Start The Membership Process” button at the bottom of this page, select your desired membership level and complete the online application. Please use the account information from your expired account during the checkout process.

The membership categories are:

Full Membership – Open to any licensed professional practicing without supervision in the field of psychotherapy, professional counseling or social work. Membership fee is $55.00 per year which includes CEUs

Interns and Associates – Includes LPC-Intern, LMSW, and LMFT-Associate. Membership fee is $25 per year. Does not include CEUs.
Affiliates – Available to those in a related field, such as law, medicine or education. Membership fee is $25 per year. Does not include CEUs

Students – Available for students in a course of study in a curriculum related to psychotherapy. Membership fee is $25 per year. Does not include CEUs.
