About Us

A Bit of Background

The Therapist Connection was formerly known as The Net Connection. It was founded in 2005 by Dr. Leah McDill, PhD,  LPC-S, Conrad Sloat, LPC-S and Glenda Corley, LPC-S. Their mission was to develop a group of dedicated professionals invested in each others’ professional growth and increasing the quality of services that they offered in our growing central Texas communities.

The goals of The Net Connection were to create a group of mental health professionals with solid, evidenced-based theoretical approaches, organized for educational purposes, that met regularly for Continuing Education Units for members, that supported and encouraged peer supervision, and that supports the Central Texas community by referring clients to competent care within the local network of mental health providers. The group was also formed to educate the membership community regarding mental health and relevant mental health issues. We currently meet once a month at the Georgetown Public Library for a CEU presentation given by different experts in the mental health field. These meetings are hybrid so that our members can connect via zoom or in-person.
